At approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, May 26, crews from the Baltimore County Fire Department were called to the 6000 block of Radecke Avenue, where there were reports of smoke and fire coming from a home in the area.

Upon arrival, firefighters say they were met with “heavy fire conditions,” though they were able to knock down the flames, though several homes suffered heat, smoke, and fire damage.

No injuries were reported, though six residents were displaced by the two-alarm blaze.

The Rosedale fire comes on the heels of a massive blaze in nearby Aberdeen that left more than two dozen residents without a place to stay and caused millions of dollars in damage.

Officials say that the cause and origin of the Baltimore County fire remain under investigation.
